Lacquer thinner is a general purpose solvent used to clean surfaces, paint guns, paint tools, and more. To use, simply saturate a clean, lint free cloth, wipe the surface to be cleaned, let it sit for a few seconds to loosen any wax, grease, or dirt, then wipe off using a dry, clean, lint free cloth. More specifically, using lacquer thinner on a fully cured epoxy table should not be a problem (always test a small area first to be sure). When re-coating epoxy you will want to sand down the surface thoroughly before applying another coat to give the new epoxy a good surface to adhere to.
