Prior to applying a clearcoat over the Olympic White GM 8624 Basecoat, wait a minimum of 20 minutes flash time and a maximum of 24 hours flash time at 70°F. Remember that flash time is dependent on the reducer speed used and your drying temperature, humidity, and air flow. Once the basecoat has a dull appearance and you can run your finger over the surface without removing paint then it has properly flashed off. Should this maximum time be exceeded, scuff surface and apply another coat of basecoat.
